About
My name is Lee Townsend, a Dharug woman from New South Wales, Australia.
I have been an Indigenous artist dabbling in many different forms of art for a long time, with my most recent love resulting in over 300 pieces of art being created.
As an individual currently rooted in the cultural fabric of Killawarra, NSW, I draw on inspiration from the rich tapestry of Aboriginal traditions, nature, community, and my rich life experiences. Each artwork carries the weight of stories told and untold, connecting past, present, and future.
Through my creations, I not only discover myself but also amplify the voices and experiences of those around me, crafting a collection that echoes the heartbeat of my community.
Living at the intersection of personal introspection and shared storytelling, my art signifies a bridge between worlds — an invitation to look deeper, to look past our differences and connect in a more genuine way.
Each piece of art has a story within, waiting to be told through your connection to it. Being the holder of these images has been wonderful but finding the owner is what I really love.
Feel free to contact me and tell me your story and I can see if I am the holder of your image.
Take care and dream your story into being.
